CASE STUDY 2: Art Inspired, Madison WI

This renovation was inspired by the art that the owners either created or collected and the need for a more open floor plan to fit their lifestyle. To provide this we had to add a concealed beam in the ceiling and remove three walls. The rearranged kitchen, new appliances, Birch cabinetry, Formica counter tops and wood floors updated the space to blend flawlessly with the dining room and living room.

Special touches included a six foot long hand carved chest which we repurposed as a sofa table by adding a frame to lift it to the correct height. In the living room the focal point became the owner crafted art above the refaced fireplace.
